[Projects Handled & Experience]
Bemuga Forwarders Ltd. has provided vital logistics support to many medium and large scale projects throughout East Africa and South Sudan, with particular emphasis on remote locations.

Over the years Bemuga Forwarders Limited has successfully handled various projects for several clients which include the following:

Turaco I & II
  • For Ms Heritage Oil & Gas Ltd, this was the first and second phase of the petroleum exploration at Semuliki. The total project value was over 50 million US Dollars and consisted of clearing and forwarding of airlifted and sea shipment of equipment and consumables for the Semuliki site..
Turaco III
  • This consisted of clearing and forwarding equipment shipment for upgrading the existing facilities in the above project i.e. Turaco 1&2.
Demobilization to Ntoroko
  • As Heritage Oils' operations in Semuliki drew to a close, we handled all the logistics necessitated by this move.
Reconstruction of Infrastructure - UTL
  • This included clearing and forwarding the initial batch of shipments for the reconstruction of the Telecommunication network which had been degraded. We stood by them to ensure efficiency in all deliveries in order for them to meet their targets. This involves sensitisation of all the stake holders i.e. customs, clients and ourselves to ensure that all the requirements are in place before the arrival of any particular consignment.
NURP II (Northern Uganda Reconstruction Project)
  • For Uganda Telecom Ltd and it involved the clearance and forwarding of all the imports for this project and delivered to specified points in Northern Uganda. This is ongoing and has a project value of over USD 75 million. We are sure that UTL can confidently commend the way we have expeditiously responded to the need of this project and others previously handled.
Hardman Petroleum Africa Pty Ltd (Phase I & II)
  • Phase I was a seismic survey in the Lake Albert basin. Bemuga's work included the logistical management of all inputs into the project which were highly time sensitive. Phase II - Kaiso Tonya - Hardman has now hit oil in the Kaiso Tonya region in Western Uganda. Bemuga was at the forefront of moving all the equipment and inputs that led to the discovery and is now participating in the movement of mining equipment. With the current discovery of promising deposits we anticipate to play our part when production equipment is to be imported.

Bemuga Forwarders Ltd has successfully moved Nabor's rig which has been the biggest in East Africa with over 170 trucks in a record time of 25 days from Mombasa to Ngesa.
Heritage Oil & Gas - Ntoroko
  • In their ongoing venture for oil exploration, Heritage Oil & Gas has now moved to Ntoroko. We handled both the mobilisation and demobilisation processes. Heritage has also discovered promising oil deposits there. We are standing by to play our part as they switch on to the importation of production equipment.
Oriental Geophysics (U) Ltd
  • We have handled 100 specialised vehicles fitted with drilling equipment and 50 pickups for a seismic survey. They are experimenting on the Shores of Lake Albert; import of more equipment is expected as the exploration survey proceeds.

The above are some of the projects we have handled to the satisfaction of our clientele. On top of the project work, we have also handled individual day today shipments of the same clients. For more information about our performance, we have several letters of appointment and recommendations from our satisfied clients.
