Bemuga Forwarders limited was founded
on 30th June 1999 with only two employees
operating from a one roomed rented offi ce
space along Nasser Road with nothing else
but, a vision and determination to become
one of the best in the industry. Today the
company is one of the best freight management
companies in the country, and the proud owner
of the fully fl edged state of the art three stored
complex building on plot 137 in Bukoto which
houses the company's Head offi ce and other
private companies.
As a young company, Bemuga Forwarders
Ltd was faced with operational challenges
and stiff competition from other companies
in the industry but the founder Ben Mugasha
was determined to compete effectively and
breakthrough. He took the initiative to observe
and scrutinize operational norms and patterns
of some successful Multi-National freight
Management Organizations in the industry. He
realised, that emphasis on customer oriented
services and delivery was at the heart of their
operations, and such was the fountain of their
success.
He resolved to build Bemuga Forwarders Ltd
along those lines. Since its foundation the
company has been dedicated to serving its
clients diligently and efficiently. Customer
satisfaction is the cornerstone for success and
progress of the company.
At the time of its inception, freight management
in Uganda was characterised with rigorous
and time consuming preparation of customs
documents and long queues and questions
from customs authorities in order to secure the
release of goods after which a fee would be
charged on clients.
